This year our field trip will go to the Missouri Botanical Garden http://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/ This is one of the most beautiful places in St. Louis. We will stroll in the beautiful Japanese garden, tour the Victorian town house of Henry Shaw and enjoy the tropics in the Geodesic Dome rainforest. There are other indoor exhibits too, should the weather be inclement.
Jackman's Fabrics*
We also will provide a shopping side trip to Jackman's Fabrics. This trip was so popular last year that we are planning an encore. Jackman's is one of our sponsors and provides the Babylock sewing machines for our convention sewing room. This family business provides an incredible inventory of designer fabrics, trims, sewing, quilting and embroidery supplies. And you won't want to miss the remnants table or the sale table where bolts of fabrics are reduced up to 50% off.
